    About this international course

    The Diploma of Information Technology (Game Programming) builds your game development skills so you can become a games programmer or software engineer. Make complex 3D games for mobile devices, work in a team to design game levels and environments and learn to lead a team.

    Additional costs for uniforms, equipment, textbooks and materials (if applicable) range from $300 - $1,000 AUD per course.

    Structure and units

    What you will study

    At the start of your course, you will receive your timetable. You will need to study all core units and a range of additional units.


      Packaging Rules Total number of units = 20 6 core units plus 14 elective units, of which: at least 10 units must be selected from the elective units listed below up to 4 units may be selected from the remaining listed elective units or from this or any currently endorsed Training Package or accredited course BSBCRT512 Originate and develop concepts BSBXCS402 Promote workplace cyber security awareness and best practices BSBXTW401 Lead and facilitate a team ICTICT517 Match ICT needs with the strategic direction of the organisation ICTICT532 Apply IP, ethics and privacy in ICT environments ICTSAS527 Manage client problems

    You may gain entry to another university using your TAFE NSW qualifications. Acceptance and the amount of credit transfer may vary depending on the university and course studies. Check your credit eligibility.
