    About this international course

    The Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice will give you the essential skills and knowledge you need to begin your career in the exciting and dynamic real estate industry as a successful real estate professional. This course also meets the educational requirements to apply to NSW Fair Trading for your NSW Class 2 Real Estate Licence.

    You will learn how to establish and manage relationships with prospective buyers, tenants and homeowners for the sale or lease of property. You will also learn how to apply legislative and compliance requirements, ethical practice and consumer preferences to conduct real estate functions.

    Globalisation, international business and the rise in the rental market is expected to define the future of the global real estate industry. Real estate agents are also leveraging digital technology and social media to sell property, promote listings and market their businesses.

    Additional costs

    Additional costs for uniforms, equipment, textbooks and materials (if applicable) range from $300 - $1,000 AUD per course.

    Structure and units

    What you will study

    At the start of your course, you will receive your timetable. You will need to study all core units and a range of additional units.


    To achieve this qualification, competency must be demonstrated in: 18 units of competency: 5 core units and 13 elective units. CPPREP4001 Prepare for professional practice in real estate CPPREP4002 Access and interpret ethical practice in real estate CPPREP4003 Access and interpret legislation in real estate CPPREP4004 Establish marketing and communication profiles in real estate CPPREP4005 Prepare to work with real estate trust accounts

    Core units are the required units that you must complete.
