The increase in Government infrastructure projects has led to increasing demand for qualified construction managers with strong leadership skills to keep projects running on schedule and within budget.

Starting dates, course fees and locations

Additional costs
Additional costs for uniforms, equipment, textbooks and materials (if applicable) range from $300 - $1,000 AUD per course.
Structure and units
What you will study
At the start of your course, you will receive your timetable. You will need to study all core units and a range of additional units.
To achieve this qualification, the candidate must demonstrate competency in: 19 units of competency: 11 core units 8 elective units. To achieve the occupational outcome of Builder electives must include: All Group A elective units
Up to two elective units from either Group B or general electives. One elective unit may be from any training package or accredited course as long as it ensures the integrity of the qualification’s and contributes to a valid, industry supported vocational outcome CPCCBC4001 Apply building codes and standards to the construction process for Class 1 and 10 Buildings CPCCBC4002 Manage work health and safety in the building and construction workplace CPCCBC4007 Plan building or construction work CPCCBC4008 Supervise site communication and administration processes for building and construction projects CPCCBC4009 Apply legal requirements to building and construction projects CPCCBC4010 Apply structural principles to residential and commercial constructions CPCCBC4012 Read and interpret plans and specifications
